Dear Dad,
Here I am in New Bedford again waiting for 6:30 to come when our broadcast will begin.
Been in Fall River since the funeral of one of our members Friday. The Mother of the young woman who passed away is pretty badly broken up and if she don't change I afraid she'll go too. The funeral was wonderful and was held in a regular funeral home. Pres. Young my companion, and I both spoke. Funerals furnish a splendid means
of preaching the gospel. I used to hate to attend them and see a dead corpse but it doesn't affect me in the least now I have a better understanding of death. Out here they leave the caskets open and stand right over them and preach the sermon. (Well enough funeral.)
Sister Mishaelson and her companion are singing two duets tonight in the broadcast after which were going to hold a street meeting.
