Well did the Apostle Paul admonish Timothy: "Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

The above charge has again been given in these latter days, together with promises and blessings, and we missionaries in this part of God's vineyard rejoice in our work.

The missionaries laboring in this district are as follows:

In Harrisburg, Penn.: Elders Otto Baptist, Oral J. Wilkinson and Sisters Louise Bernards and Edna Mae Bryan. Along with their regular missionary activity, these missionaries are giving regular weekly broadcasts over WHP.

Altoona, Penn.: Elders Evan P. Call, Clifford J. Peterson and Sisters Edna Mae Coleman and Irma N. Peterson are carrying on the work here. They are also privileged to present regular weekly broadcasts over WFBG. Of unusual interest is their weekly service held in the Blair County jail, Hollidaysburg, where they have an opportunity of presenting the Gospel message. The missionaries report that eleven converts have recently been added to the ranks of the Church.

Elders Ermil E. Liljenquist and S. James Smith are laboring in Buck Valley and report some success there.
